SOP Care is online software for community pharmacies, care homes and dental practices in England. It gives you a ready-made SOP library for your sector, personalised to your premises, with read-and-sign for staff, point-of-work checklists, corrective actions and the evidence an inspector asks to see.

Community pharmacy (65 SOPs mapped to the GPhC standards and Responsible Pharmacist regulations, with CPAF evidence), care homes (72 SOPs mapped to CQC’s key questions and Regulations 9 to 20A) and dental practices (59 SOPs covering decontamination, radiography, medical emergencies and sedation, mapped to CQC).

They are a complete, professionally structured starting point. Your setup answers fill in local details automatically, then the person accountable for your service reviews, adapts and approves each SOP before staff sign it. Responsibility for your SOPs always stays with your organisation.

Any approved SOP can be run step by step on a phone at the point of work, with readings, photos, decisions and a signature. Starter checklists cover things like fridge temperatures, controlled drug checks, autoclave tests, emergency kit, hoists and fire alarms. Anything out of range is flagged to managers straight away.

Yes. Every SOP and checklist can be edited, and you can create new ones. Changes are version-controlled, you can compare versions word by word, and staff are asked to re-sign major changes.

Yes. It maps your SOPs to the GPhC standards or CQC framework, tracks readiness evidence, keeps a corrective actions log and builds an evidence pack for whatever an inspector is looking at, which you can print or share as a secure, time-limited link.

Yes. Each temporary worker gets their own access, limited to the sites you choose and set to expire on the date you pick, so their signatures and checks are properly recorded.

Yes. SOP Care runs in any modern browser and can be installed on a phone or tablet like an app. Checks completed without signal are kept on the device and sent automatically when you are back online.

Connections are encrypted, passwords are stored as one-way hashes, accounts lock after repeated failed sign-ins, two-step verification is available to everyone, and each organisation can only ever see its own data. Every change is recorded in an audit trail.

Yes. The Small Group and Group plans cover up to 3 and 8 sites, with site-specific setup answers, staff, checks and sign-off tracking. For larger groups, contact us about Enterprise.

30 days, with every feature included. We don’t ask for payment details to start. Choose a plan and set up payment before the trial ends to keep your account.

By Direct Debit through GoCardless, or by PayPal (which also accepts debit and credit cards).

Email support@sop-care.com from your account email address. Monthly plans stop at the end of the current month. You can also cancel your Direct Debit with your bank or your subscription in PayPal at any time.

Your account is paused rather than deleted, so you can restart later. If you’d like your data deleted or exported, just ask.
